Landscape Likes | Metal Panels

Instead of replacing the original fence, which the Sylvesters didn’t like, Eckley removed the trellis portion and clad the yard side of the fence with metal panels—a budget-friendly option.

Before the redesign, the back of the house had a strong physical presence.

Paths are made of very fine compacted crushed granite that is gentle on bare feet.

Landscape Likes | Asian

Like hostas and other big-wide leaf plants, ferns, grasses, stone objects, maples, and perhaps a little seating area like these stone table and stools for up in one of the back corners (east side) ?

Landscape Likes | More Australian Containers

I wish I could find these here in Seattle. I was looking around and found cool corrugated metal fencing but in Australia as well... These look much cooler than water troughs. Come in lots of colors and sizes too.

Landscape Likes | Veggies Fruits and Herbs

Look at these cool raised beds - of course they are from Australia...I'm thinking: tomatoes, romano beans, raspberries, zucchini, radishes? what other easy veggies ? And herbs too: thyme, chives, mint in it's own pot, rosemary, more chives, and ? Oh and italian plum and fig trees too!

Landscape Likes | Strong Verticals

I like these strong repetitive vertical lines. The more I think about it I'm thinking a row of trees parallel to the patio on the north side, and perhaps a row of trees across the back parallel to the raised area? Perhaps not as perfect as the trees below but with nice straight trunks.
